thanks again for coming out to Newton yesterday.  Thanks, also, for following up promptly with photographs.  I appreciate all of your insight; you certainly unearthed a couple of things that I hadn’t.

You asked yesterday how I found you, so I thought I should follow up.  The primary route that I took in searching for a competent inspector was to look for professional affiliation.  I consider affiliation important primarily based on the lack of inspection guidelines at the Iowa state level.  Further, review of your website left me with a good impression; I particularly liked the fact that you didn’t push any gimmicky add-ons to the inspection.

Lack of radon certification was a bit of a detractor, but was not the deciding factor in the end.  I might add, also, that your rate was very reasonable.  In fact, it is below the prevailing market rate.  Your phone demeanor, along with your prompt reply and scheduling flexibility, overcame any other concerns that I may have had.
